Over the years, I have developed a workflow that balances creative freedom with the structure needed to deliver projects on time and within budget. Here is how it works.
Kick-Off: The Foundation
Every successful project starts with a thorough kick-off meeting. This is where I sit down with the client to understand their vision, goals, and expectations. I ask questions, listen carefully, and take detailed notes.
The kick-off is not just about gathering requirements. It is about building trust and establishing a shared language for the project.
Pre-Production: Planning for Success
Once the vision is clear, I develop a treatment that outlines the concept, visual style, and deliverables. This document serves as a roadmap for the entire production.
Pre-production also involves location scouting, casting if needed, and creating a production schedule that accounts for every phase of the project.
Production: Bringing the Vision to Life
On set, my focus is on capturing high-quality footage while maintaining a collaborative atmosphere. I work closely with the client to ensure we are capturing exactly what they envisioned — and sometimes even more.
Post-Production: The Magic Happens
This is where I spend most of my time. Editing, color grading, sound mixing, and visual effects all come together in post-production. I use tools like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects to polish every frame.
Delivery: Exceeding Expectations
The final step is delivering a product that not only meets but exceeds the client's expectations. I prepare multiple formats for different platforms and provide a seamless handoff.
